Psychological support based on connection & respect

The quality of our lives is reflected by the quality of our relationships - especially by the relationship we have to ourselves. At different times in life, however, these relationships may suffer. Our needs may not be being met, or we may be unclear what our needs actually are.

At times, we can all feel that we're not living up to our full potential. At times, we can all feel stuck, low, or distressed. At times we can all lose a sense of who we are.

Psychotherapy can help us find our way back to our centre. Through a respectful, empathic relationship we can return to our grounded selves and forge healthy, enriching connections. Ones that not only accept our differences, but in fact champion and celebrate them.

Working together, we can shine gentle light on our patterns of thought, feeling, and behaviour. These patterns once served a purpose but they may not be in your best interests now. By surfacing these, with a fresh awareness, you can find a path back to your true self.

This is what BeingTogether stands for.

I work with a range of issues, including...

Relationships

I can explore your current needs in relationship with you, as well as stand beside you during a breakup or lack of connection. I also offer therapy for couples and poly relationships.

Depression & Anxiety

All of us experience common mental health challenges including stress, depression, and anxiety. I can provide a safe space for you to process your feelings.

GSRD+

I affirm gender, sex, and relationship diversity. I am experienced working with a range of non-conforming clients of all ages - as well as those questioning their identities or transitioning.

Life Purpose

Some of us feel that we're not experiencing a meaningful or purposeful life. At times we can feel lost or empty. I can help you ground, explore, and define.

Destructive Behaviours

Are you acting in your own and others' best interests? Are your actions harmful or destructive? Without judgement, we will make sense of your behaviours.

Shame & Self-criticism

Shame feelings and self-criticism can be mild or chronic. They arise for all sorts of reasons and bring defensive behaviours. We can look at these safely together.
